The storyGreg Wiggs is the artist and producer behind She Loves 2 Shop — a cool name for an independent artist. SL2S is published by the WiGZReCorDs label (pronounced “Wigz-Re-cords”).
“Indie Rock with a cheeky wink and nod to the British Pop Punk Glory days, SL2S is an eclectic mix of ideas and style inspired by genres: Rock, Blues, Punk, even Americana. Often humorous, and honest, with the vocals delivered in a uniquely recognizable voice.”
Greg is a self-taught musician from a cornfield near Fort Wayne, Indiana. He writes the songs, sings them, plays every instrument, records, mixes and masters — alone in a humble studio, vocals through a vintage Shure SM57 from 1983, surrounded by more electric guitars than any one man probably should own.
When he was young, they told him he couldn't sing — “get away from the microphone,” just do instrumentals. So he wrote his own songs, found his own way, and called it style: not a singer, a vocalist. Lately people have started calling him a singer. It still sounds strange to him. Six albums since 2021 say they might be onto something.
He walks around this world as an antenna. The rest follows from that.
